…when you’re so desperate to keep the passion of an ill-fated love affair alive that you resort to satanic rituals and body torture. But no amount of witchcraft can alter true destiny – the inevitable is inevitable.

ÖZLEM presents ONE NIGHT, a pop music film inspired by the performance art of Rudolf Schwarzkogler, a Viennese artist known for his contributions to the Aktionism movement of the 1960’s, and directed by Peter McCain, a Brooklyn-based artist, filmmaker, and editor-in-chief of Batshit Times Magazine.

Shot on Super 8, the video follows a Witch whose rituals wreak havoc on an unidentified body wrapped in gauze. With each sacrifice, the Body appears in various stages of duress and undress. Raw fish and dead pigeons wrapped in electrical wire appear in streams of blood as an hourglass counts down the remaining minutes. Time is fleeting. Are the Witch’s spells powerful enough to supersede fate? Will the Body be saved before it bleeds out?

CAN ONE NIGHT LAST FOREVER?
